Arcadis and Pond JV Team Secures Two Contracts with USACE, Europe District

The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Europe District, has awarded two shared indefinite delivery multiple-award task order contracts with a combined value of $249 million.The award went to the joint venture team of Arcadis and Pond & Company. Arcadis brings its global leadership in intelligence-driven sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions, while Pond & Company specializes in delivering essential infrastructure and design services for the US military.

Supporting Key Military and Non-MILCON Projects

The contracts are divided into two categories. The first focuses on Military Construction (MILCON) projects valued at over $500,000, while the second supports small-scale and non-MILCON projects under $500,000. These smaller projects include the design of essential facilities like fuel depots, administrative buildings, and storage units.

Arcadis will deliver these services as part of a 50:50 joint venture (JV) with Pond & Company. Their work will span across Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, and Denmark. The Arcadis-Pond JV will provide a comprehensive suite of Architect-Engineer (A-E) services, including:

  • Facility design
  • Planning
  • Construction inspection
  • Environmental documentation
  • Preparation of design-build and design-bid-build Request for Proposal (RFP) packages
