Dubuque Barge and Fleeting Service Co., doing business as Newt Marine Service,* Dubuque, Iowa, was awarded a $22,693,700 firm-fixed-price contract for mechanical dredging along the Illinois River. Work will be performed at Fort Novosel, Alabama, with an estimated completion date of June 26, 2028. Fiscal 2024 operation and maintenance, Army funds in the amount of $16,953,460 were obligated at the time of the award. Work will be performed at Davis Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona; Gila Bend, Arizona; Luke AFB, Arizona; Tucson, Arizona; Phoenix, Arizona; Palmdale, California; Beale AFB, California; Edwards AFB, California; Fresno, California; March A Reserve Base, California; Travis AFB, California; Vandenberg AFB, California; Cannon AFB, New Mexico; Alamogordo, New Mexico; Albuquerque, New Mexico; Indian Springs, Nevada; Nellis AFB, Nevada; Reno, Nevada; Tonopah, Nevada; Hill AFB, Utah; and Salt Lake City, Utah, with an estimated completion date of July 8, 2025. Fiscal 2024 revolving funds in the amount of $10,351,817 were obligated at the time of the award. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville, Alabama, is the contracting activity.
