District Context & Mission Impact

This long-term engineering design contract vehicle is administered by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers New York District. The New York District executes major military construction programs across New York and New Jersey, serving key defense installations such as the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, Fort Drum, Picatinny Arsenal, and Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. Establishing a multi-discipline A-E contractor pool enables USACE to issue rapid task orders for master planning, structural design, mechanical/electrical engineering, environmental studies, building information modeling (BIM), and construction management support through autumn 2031.

Contractor Spotlight & Industry Context

The awardee pool represents world-class architectural, structural, and civil engineering firms and dedicated joint ventures with extensive Department of Defense experience. Out of 23 proposals evaluated, these six teams demonstrated exceptional technical expertise in sustainable design, anti-terrorism force protection (AT/FP) compliance, historic preservation, and complex facility infrastructure. Leveraging indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) MATOC contracting structures provides USACE with flexible access to top-tier engineering talent needed to maintain military operational readiness and execute federal infrastructure goals.
