Jacobs Secures U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Contract for Japan

Jacobs has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Japan District to provide architecture and engineering services for U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) installations.

The contract will include a range of services, including design and construction for military facilities and infrastructure. This will support U.S. military construction, sustainment, restoration, modernization, and host nation construction programs. Specific projects will encompass mission and operations, accommodation, lifestyle, recreation, health and wellness facilities, education and training sites, telecommunications and secure data services as well as aircraft, ship and waterfront operations.

“Jacobs has a long history of supporting the U.S. DoD and other government entities in East Asia,” said Jacobs Executive Vice President Susannah Kerr. “With this contract, Jacobs will continue its mission to create resilient, future-ready and sustainable defense installations.”

The total contract value is estimated at $249 million over a potential seven-year period.

Jacobs is currently working on U.S. DoD installations across South Korea, Japan, Guam, Europe and the Middle East and holds active contracts with the U.S. Air Force in Japan.
