Transatlantic Middle East District Awards Nearly $300M Contract for Saudi Arabia

USACE TRANSATLANTIC MIDDLE EAST DISTRICT

The Transatlantic Middle East District awarded a contract for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Defense P-563 Program on Feb. 17, 2023.

The Single Award Task Order Contract (SATOC) W912ER23D0009 was awarded to Tecnica y Proyectos for Engineering Services (TYPSA) with a not to exceed value of up to $290,000,000.

Typsa will be responsible for the overall integration of the P-563 Program. Among other tasks, this integration effort will include preparation and implementation of a program management plan (PMP), program communication, program change management, quality management, cost and scheduling tracking, design requirements, codes, standards and submittal requirements program guidance, study integration, risk analysis and management, design reviews, quality management, and program work breakdown plan.

The period of performance is a three-year base period with one 2-year option period.
